The Lookout Retreat

Flowing from inside to outside, blending in with the surrounding natural environment, The Lookout Retreat provides an ideal, tranquil setting for creative inspiration, as well as pure relaxation.

The House and Garden

Creative, cosy, spacious and bright, the house is the heart of the retreat. With views of the garden and countryside from every room, the house is a relaxing space to unwind, as well as inspire. The studio and live room lead onto a large, island kitchen fit with a comfy sofa and gorgeous views. Beyond the kitchen, there are two double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a lounge with large French doors looking out onto a gorgeous garden. The lounge has a high end, large projector and Bose surround sound speakers, ideal for movie nights or listening to music. Two sets of French doors look out and lead onto the gorgeous garden and like most of the rooms, provides unbeatable views of the surrounding nature.

The Cabins

The bespoke View Cabin is one of a kind. It has one of the most incredible views in Sussex and includes a dining space with a gorgeous hand-crafted kitchen, a chill out lounge space with a wood burner and the sofa doubles up as an optional sofa bed.  This space also has a gorgeous, modern self contained shower room & WC. Adjacent to the main cabin is a romantic private bedroom cabin with a King size bed and clothes storage, with views onto the stunning countryside. This is an ideal place to inspire for songwriting.

The Luxury Yurt

Our 6m yurt is truly beautiful. Fit with a wood burner, tables and benches, four single beds and plenty of lighting options, the yurt is a versatile space; beds can be removed to provide an alternative space for writing and creating. Outside is a bespoke fire pit to enjoy sunsets and star gazing. A decked pathway leads to the View Cabin and Sleeper Cabin, a dedicated outdoor shower with a view, two WC’s and the beautiful, natural amphitheatre.

The Amphitheatre

One of the most unique, breathtaking spaces in the retreat is our natural amphitheatre. Built beautifully into the land with a natural raised stage and seating, the views looking out to the South Downs National Park valley below are stunning; it is truly one of a kind.
